Entry from: Tetoan, Morocco Entry Title: "Marruecos" Entry: "Fui a Marruecos!!! I went to AFRICA, people. How strange is that? It really was a great trip. The funny thing, however, is that the night before we left, my friends and I were out until 6am for David's (guy in our program) birthday! We went to a discoteca at 11pm, 4 hours before the discos get busy. If you get there before 11, you don't pay any cover so we were trying to save a buck. We realized, however, that we were bored out of our minds so we decided to leave Mae West (the discoteca). We then headed to a Chupiteria (Chupit = shot). I called Adam and his roommate, Andrew, to come join us. After 20 shots for 8 euros, of which I did NOT partake, we headed to Camborio, another discoteca. We sat and talked there for a while until it got decently busy. Then, we got our grooves on to 80's American music (Pump Up the Jam, etc.) and hip-hop. It was a good night. I got home at 6am, got up at 11am, went shopping for snacks for Morocco, AFRICA, and headed to catch the bus at 2pm. The bus was filled with people I had never seen before (obviously), but it's quite funny how by the end of the trip, I had met over half of the bus. There were 11 students from CEGRI (my school) on the bus (we were the largest group, as always). It was a really good group ...
